Suzhou Sports Training Base, which was designed to provide athletes with professional training spaces, venues, and other living facilities, is expected to be completed before June 30.
The base has a three-storied training gym. Its exterior decoration will be completed at the end of May. Featuring large space and multiple venues, the gym is mainly for training on skating, swimming, taekwondo, fencing, and handball. The roof part is also designed with outdoor tennis courts and cage football fields.
The 12-storied multiple-use building, standing adjacent to the training gym, contains canteens, offices, rehabilitation area, and 116 dormitories which can settle roughly 180 athletes.
Some spaces will also be opened to the public for exercise.
