To implement the achievements made by President Xi Jinping in his visit to Indonesia in October of 2013, and Premier Li Keqiang in his participation in the 16th China-ASEAN (10+1) Summit, the first China-ASEAN Forum on Maritime Technology Cooperation was held from November 21 to 22, 2013 in Bali, Indonesia.
According to the news released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the 7th Senior Officials' Meeting on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) was held in Thailand, co-chaired by Vice Minister Liu Zhenmin of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and Undersecretary Sihasak Phuangketkeow of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, with participants from other ASEAN member states.
The 11th China-ASEAN Joint Working Group on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (JWG on the DOC) was held on June 24 and 25, 2014 in Bali, Indonesia.
PEMSEA Network of Local Governments (PNLG) 2014 was held in Sepang, Malaysia from September 8 to 10, about 120 representatives from countries of China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and East Timor as well as PEMSEA officers attended the meeting.
The 8th Senior Officials' Meeting on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) was held in Thailand on October 28 and 29, co-chaired by Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin and Undersecretary Sihasak Phuangketkeow of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and attended by senior officials of ASEAN and its members.
On March 28, 2015, the Session of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and the ceremony launching of the Year of China-ASEAN Maritime Cooperation were held in Boao, Hainan province.
On April 10, 2015, the 16th ASEAN-China Joint Cooperation Committee (ACJCC) Meeting was convened at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia.
