Yang Chao, born in November 1972, with an on-the-job postgraduate degree in business administration, began working in July 1995. Of Chinese Han ethnicity, he hails from Shanghai and is a member of the CPC. Yang is currently deputy-director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce.
