The first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Conference will bring together service trade industries of the three regions Oct 28 to 30 in Shizimen and success is in sight as more than 90 percent of 20,000-sqm (5-acre) exhibition area is already booked.

Promoting innovative development, exchanges, and cooperation in the service trade industry will be major exhibitors Huawei, Tencent, Purple Mountain Laboratories, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Fantawild Holdings. They will display products in urban, digital trade, convention and exhibition, traditional Chinese medicine, and quality life services at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center.

With an exhibition area of 255 sq m (305 sq yd), the Zhuhai booth will represent the local service trade industry being developed by the city, industrial carriers, and key enterprises. Gree Electric Appliances is the leading local exhibitor.

Hot issues in making service trade a strategy for development will be addressed by Tsinghua University professor Huang Qifan, World Trade Organization deputy director-general Yi Xiaozhun, Chinese Academy of Engineering member Liu Yunjie, Chinese Academy of Sciences academician Zhou Chenghu, Huawei rotating chairman Guo Ping, and 360 chairman Zhang Bei.

Parallel forums, product releases, project roadshows, business negotiations and matchmakings will be conducted. Award ceremonies will be held along with demonstrations of online convention and exhibition platforms and "green" exhibition installation products, and industrial selections.

Cantonese Cuisine Masters will present their dishes while Guangdong housekeeping representatives will also demonstrate their domestic service skills.

Visitors are required to present Guangdong health and travel history codes, and negative nucleic acid test results taken within seven days. The fair is organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and Zhuhai Municipal People's Government.
