Tangjia Town
Tangjiawan Town was designated one of the third-batch China's Famous Historical & Cultural Towns in June 2007, becoming the country's first to succeed with application as a modern China historical site.
A former venue of county government of Zhongshan Model County in the Republic of China period and of Zhuhai County in the early years of the People's Republic of China period, it possesses 29 provincial, municipal and district-level historical and cultural heritage structures, 16 of which are located on Shanfang Road in the old town. Wangci Shanfang House, built in memory of his mother by Tang Shaoyi (Tong Shao-yi) in 1929, used to be a private villa of this first prime minister of the Republic of China. Tang used to live and work here when he served as the County Magistrate of Zhongshan. The small street in the front was named Shanfang Road afterwards.

Tang Shaoyi's Former Residence
Tang Ruizhi Family Shrine, located opposite Wangci Shanfang House, was built between 1875 and 1908 in the Qing dynasty. It was designated as one of the 6th-batch city-level protected historical sites in May 2011.

Tang Juchuan Family Shrine, built in the late Qing dynasty by Tang Shaoyi's father, Tang Juchuan, was authorized as a city-level immovable cultural relic site in July 2012.
Gongleyuan Park, covering 23,300sqm, was created as Tang Shaoyi's private garden, called fondly by him as "Exquisite Yamadate," in 1910 and renamed Gongleyuan, meaning Garden of Shared Joy, in 1915.
It was acknowledged as a city-level protected heritage site in 1987, elected as one of the Top Ten Zhuhai Scenic Spots in 2001, and one of the fifth-batch provincial protected heritage structures with Tang Shaoyi's Former Residence and Wangci Shanfang in 2008.
