Dedicated greenways connecting bikers and walkers with the many aspects of the city mark ecological expansion in Zhuhai. The greenways have a total length of 426 km, among which provincial Greenway No 1 and Greenway No 4 each are about 80 km long. The greenway network links together the city’s urban landscapes, tourist attractions, suburban pastoral fields and islands.

The greenways are of provincial, municipal and community levels. Various paths in different districts have distinctive features, and match well with community parks, having become ecological veins of leisure and vacationing in Zhuhai. 

Relay stations are at the junctions of flowing streams of greenways. Characteristic among them are the Haitian , Jiuzhou Port, Yuehai, Xiangshan, Qi’ao and Imperial Hot Springs Resort sites for bicycle leasing and refreshments.
