Lianjiang Ecological Conservation Area
The Lianjiang Ecological Conservation Area is the sole treasure land of primordial sand fields in the Pearl River Delta. Within the site lies the Zhuhai">Zhuhai Water Source Protection Zone and the world’s largest forest of water pine, which is known as a “living plant fossil.”

The 330-sq-km area is dotted with a large number of eco-agricultural production bases, and is the site of China’s first Urban Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone, and of a National Agricultural Science & Technology Park.
5-km Lianjiang Scenic Spot
As a model base for leisure agricultural and rural tourism in Guangdong Province, Lianjiang is a large-scale tourist project integrating ecological agriculture sightseeing, farming experiences, holiday resort, science education programs and a healthy lifestyle.
The scenic spot boasts a vast expanse of cultivated land, a variety of folk houses and inns, flower gardens and featured restaurants. The rural farming and folk customs exhibition reproduces life in the past. Greenway cycling and lake fishing afford idyllic experiences.
