Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, held a tourism promotion event on Jan 16 in Shenzhen, part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), introducing nearly 200 activities and products for the Spring Festival holiday.

At the event, tourism practitioners promoted Yangzhou's scenic spots, local cuisine, cultural heritage, and hot springs. Performances of the Yangzhou Ditty, storytelling, and rod puppetry were staged to build cultural ties with the GBA.
To attract more visitors from around the globe, several tourism companies from Yangzhou and Guangdong signed cooperation agreements on tourist exchanges, product development, and joint promotions.

Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport has also teamed up with China Southern Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines to add more flights. There will be six daily flights to Guangzhou and three to Shenzhen, making travel more convenient.

During the Spring Festival holiday from Feb 15 to 23, visitors with certificates in Chinese cooking or pastry skills can enter the city's state-owned pay-to-visit attractions free of charge.
