Students share their experiences of working in the XJTU media matrix during the event.

On Nov 28, the second conference and awards ceremony for the Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) Campus Media Alliance Matrix – Xianjiao Xiaorong, took place at the Integrated Media Center of the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbour.

Representatives from prominent media outlets and platforms, including Xinhua News Agency, China Youth Daily, China Education Daily, China Science Daily, Shaanxi Radio and Television Station, Sanqin Metropolis Daily, Xi'an Daily, Phoenix News, and more attended the event.

During the conference, the "Decision to Commend Outstanding Works and Individuals of the First Campus Media Alliance Matrix" was announced. A total of 53 outstanding works, including graphics, videos, and multimedia productions, were selected from submissions from students across the university. Additionally, 62 students were awarded the title of "Outstanding Individual".

The event also included the launch of the "Global Communication Ambassadors 2.0" initiative. Represented by students and faculty with cross-cultural perspectives, these ambassadors aim to share their stories of life at XJTU and in China, fostering cultural exchanges and mutual understanding worldwide.

During the sharing session, students from various media studios and teams within the media matrix reflected on their experiences, including their first forays into journalism and social practice activities, such as visiting the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
