A delegation from Penza State Technological University visits XJTU.

A delegation from Penza State Technological University, led by Panchenko Dmitry Vladimirovich, rector of the university, visited Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) on Nov 10. Xi Guang, vice president of XJTU, met with the delegation.

Xi welcomed the delegation and highlighted the history, academic disciplines, campus development, the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR) and international education at XJTU.

He said that XJTU attaches great importance to collaboration with Russia in the fields of education, science, and talent, and expressed hoped that both sides can leverage the UASR to enhance mutual learning and exchanges.

Panchenko said that he was honored to visit XJTU. He gave an overview of his university and its collaborative educational projects in talent development with other Russian universities. The visit aimed to expand cooperation in economy, trade, agriculture, and industry.

It is hoped that future discussions and exchanges will be carried out with XJTU to further strengthen cooperation.

Penza State Technological University, located in the historic Russian city of Penza, which was founded in 1663, was established in 1959. It is a non-profit public higher education institution officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
