The Magnetic Medicine.

The results of the 2023 High-Starting New Journals of the Chinese Science and Technology Journals Excellence Action Plan were recently announced, which included two journals hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) – "Renewable Energy System and Equipment" and "Magnetic Medicine".

Since the implementation of the Chinese Science and Technology Journals Excellence Action Plan in 2019, XJTU has had a total of seven journals selected, including one key journal, one tiered journal, and five high-starting-point new journals.

The "Renewable Energy System and Equipment" was jointly established by XJTU's School of Electric Engineering, Journal Center, and Xi’an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co, with Wang Qiuliang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, serving as the editor-in-chief.

The journal is published in collaboration with KeAi and is available on the Elsevier platform. It primarily publishes original academic achievements in areas such as renewable energy modules, energy storage and application, new power equipment and technology, electrified transportation systems and facilities, intelligent sensing, and control.

The journal "Magnetic Medicine", jointly established by the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU and the Journal Center, has Lyu Yi, vice president of XJTU, as the editor-in-chief and three academicians from China, the US and Swiss as honorary editors.

Guided by clinical medicine, it focuses on publishing research outcomes in the interdisciplinary field of magnetism and medicine, with the aim of creating a high-level exchange platform led by China at the intersection of medicine and engineering.
