Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) marked its 127th anniversary with a conference on advancing industry-education integration. 

The conference underscored the importance of promoting enterprise-led collaboration between industries and universities with education, science and technology, and human resources. They are the foundational and strategic pillars, as highlighted in the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Lu Jianjun, Party secretary of the CPC XJTU Committee, reiterated the university's commitment to advancing the high-quality development of education, science, technology, and human resources. He emphasized that XJTU will continue to make significant contributions to the building of a modern socialist country and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

At the conference, XJTU forged partnerships with enterprises to further deepen the integration of industry and education, with a focus on cultivating talents. In addition, the event also marked the inauguration of newly-established schools and institutions.

The university is implementing enhanced measures to foster talent development through collaborations with top enterprises, as well as appointing scientists and engineers as supervisors.
