XJTU tops in teaching projects among C9

Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) ranked first among the Consortium of China 9 Research Universities (C9) in terms of the number of newly approved joint projects between the university and enterprises.

A total of 89 XJTU projects were approved by the Ministry of Education recently. These projects have gained support from well-known domestic and foreign companies such as Huawei, Alibaba Cloud and Schneider Electric, aiming to build new engineering disciplines, reform the teaching content and curriculum system, boost education in innovation and entrepreneurship, train teachers, improve practice conditions and construct practical bases.

These projects bring together enterprise resources and help college students carry out innovation and entrepreneurship training.

Since 2014, the Ministry of Education for a total of 405 teaching projects at XJTU, the most among C9 universities. It has provided strong support for cultivating a large number of high-quality innovative and technical professionals.

The university has promoted the joint cultivation of students with enterprises and continued to build a sound experimental teaching, innovation and entrepreneurship education ecosystem.

The university attracted and integrated high-quality educational resources from the government, leading enterprises, scientific research institutes, and financial investment institutions, and helped colleges and enterprises to jointly formulate training goals, develop high-quality curriculum systems, design teaching materials, organize teaching teams, and build practical platforms.

XJTU has also built a stimulation and reciprocity model that integrates chains in industry, innovation and talents, which is compatible with regional development. It assists the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents and forms an experimental teaching, innovation and entrepreneurship education model that serves the needs of national economic and social development.
