The national finals of the 6^th China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held November 17-20, 2020, with the theme of "Ready for Adventure, Ready for Start-up". About 1.47 million projects were submitted by 6.31 million contestants from 4,186 universities and institutions in domestic and abroad.

XJTU won 4 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals in the higher education group (Mainland Projects) and the“Journey to the Dream”group. XJTU also was presented with the Collective Awards for Universities in the two groups.

Initiated by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in 2015, the China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is co-sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Education and 11 other central and local departments. It is considered a major innovation and entrepreneurship event and is an important carrier and platform for in-depth innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in China.
