Forbes China released the latest 30 Under 30 List  on November 9, 2020, naming 300 outstanding young people aged under 30 from different fields in China. Candidates for this year's 30 Under 30 List were all born after January 1, 1990, and have demonstrated extraordinary talent and leadership potential. Six XJTU alumni, i.e., Yan Zequn, Yang Tao, ZhouYu, Pan Yuanzhi, Zhang Chaohui, and Li Haoxuan,were included in the list.

Yan Zequn began his Master's program in engineering thermophysics at XJTU in 2016.Since June 2016, he has served as the assistant to the Chair of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and assistant director of Eco Foundation Global. Since May 2019, he has served as general manager in Jiangsu Huanghai Wetl and Research Institute Co., Ltd., a newly established state-owned enterprise.

Yang Tao earned his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor's degrees at XJTU. He is now a senior engineer with a doctoral degree jointly trained by XJTU and MIT Media Lab. Chishine 3D, a company that he co-founded, focuses on“high-precision3D imaging + artificial intelligence”technology and has received more than 100 million yuan venture capital from top Chinese investment institutions, including Xi'an Casstar Science and Technology Incubator Co., Ltd; SBCVC; Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd; and Shenzhen Guozhong Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd.

Zhou Yu was in the XJTU Pilot Class of Applied Physics from 2010 to 2014 and worked for his doctorate at Nanyang Technological University from 2015 to 2019. His research focuses on solid-state quantum computing. After graduation, he joined the Tencent Quantum Laband focused on the frontier exploration of quantum computing.

Pan Yuanzhi was recruited by XJTU's special class for gifted young students in 2016 and was transferred to the Pilot Class of Artificial Intelligence in 2018. He is the founder and CEO of Jinshi Technology, a company mainly engaged in the production and sales of high-powerchip heat dissipation materials and providing customized heat dissipation substrates.

Zhang Chaohui, a XJTU's doctoral candidate in Robotics, is the founder and CEO of YOUIBOT and the Deputy Secretary-General of Technical Committee on Manufacturing System Control of the Chinese Association of Automation (CAA). He won the title of the 2019 Capek outstanding young entrepreneur. In 2017, he founded YOUIBOT and built the world's first commercial vehicle inspection robot and the first inspection robot for customs hazardous chemicals in China.

Li Haoxuan, who completed his undergraduate study in ACCA at XJTU's School of Management in 2020, has won the title of Global Youth Environmental Innovation Leader and founded Xi'an Underwater Dynamics Technology Co., Ltd. He and his company built the first“Electronic River Chief”environmental monitoring trace ability system and the“Electronic River Chief”hydrological global monitoring system in China. These systems have been successfully implemented in Ganzhou, Wuzhen, Hong Kong, Jinan, Chengdu, and other cities. Also,his company has participated in the construction of several smart cities and smart parks.
