China held a meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on September 8 to commend role models in the country's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. 
The First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU won the National Advanced Grassroots Organization and the National Advanced Organization for Fighting Against COVID-19 Epidemic. 
Gong Shouping, Council Chair of the Second Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, Ma Xiancang, Vice President of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, and Zhao Yingren, Director of Infection Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of XJTU, were awarded the title of Outstanding Role Models in combatting the epidemic.
