Recently, American Academy of Nursing (AAN) announced its 2020 Class of New Fellows that included Professor Li Xiaomei, director of the Department of Nursing Studies of the XJTU Health Science Center.

AAN was established in 1973. It serves the public and the nursing profession by advancing health policy, practice, and science through organizational excellence and effective nursing leadership. Academy Fellows are nursing's most accomplished leaders in education, management, practice, and research. By 2019, eleven experts from China's mainland had been selected as fellows.
