The research team led by XJTU Professor Mei Xuesong has developed a multifunctional robot for measuring body temperature, inspection, and disinfection. These robots have been put into use in hospitals, custom inspection points, and other public places. The robots utilize body thermal imagery capable of recognizing faces and trace abnormal temperatures based on AI algorithms. They also help in ultraviolet disinfection and their advantages include high measurement accuracy, 7*24 monitoring, and remote control, so that they can be used at railway and bus stations, airports, hospitals, and other public places. More importantly, the robots allow for data playback and analysis.
