On November 20-22, 2019, a XJTU's delegation, led by the university's Council Chair Zhang Maizeng and the President Wang Shuguo, visited Shenyang, Liaoning Province and signed an overall strategic cooperation agreement with the Liaoning Provincial Government.

Upholding the principles of“innovation-driven cooperation, university-local government collaboration, complementing each other's advantages, and promoting joint development”, XJTU and the Liaoning Provincial Government agreed to design their mode of cooperation based on mutual needs and advantages. Talent training and exchange, scientific research and results transformation, decision-making and consultation, and other forms of cooperation will be conducted to form a multi-dimensional partnership.
