From August 20 to 25, 2019, the World Robot Conference was held in Beijing. XJTU's VEX Robotics Team competed in the VEX Robotics World Championship-VEX U Division and won the all-round championship, league title, and the second prize in the techniques competition.

The 2019 World Robot Conference consisted of a main forum and seminars. During this time, the World Robot Expo and a World Robot Contest were held. The World Robot Conference is regarded as the“Davos”forum of robotics. It is supported by 22 international robotics organizations, including the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE RAS), World Federation of Engineering Organization (WFEO), and the International Foundation of Robotics Research (IFRR).
