On the afternoon of May 12th local time, the Confucius Institute at Yamanashi Gakuin University was established in cooperation with XJTU. Nearly a hundred guests attended the opening ceremony and witnessed the establishment of the 15th Confucius Institute in Japan, including Mr. Hu Zhiping, Minister-Counselor of the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, Mr. Koji Furuya, president of Yamanashi Gakuin University, Mr. Xi Guang, vice president of XJTU, local government officers, directors of Confucius Institutes and representatives of other colleges in Japan.
