On the morning of May 31, a delegation of Universit de technologie de Troyes (UTT), France, visited XJTU. Pierre Koch, UTT President, met XJTU President, Wang Shuguo.

Pierre Koch first introduced existing cooperation between UTT and Chinese universities. He stressed the outstanding research performance of UTT intelecommunication, nano materials, and other engineering-based fields, and expressed the hope of establishing academic cooperation with XJTU. With the fast-growing economy and rising international position of China, an increasing number of French students and scholars hope to study in China. President Pierre Koch said that he hopes UTT and XJTU would start more people-to-people exchanges, learn from each other, and create more opportunities for UTT students to study in XJTU.
