From December 3 to 5, 2018, the Global Education Summit 2018 with“Converging for Innovation, Education Inspiring All”as the theme, was held in Beijing. The president of Development Research Center of the State Council, Li Wei, attended the summit. More than 800 global heavy weights in education, politics, business, technology and academia gathered at the summit. XJTU vice president Zheng Qinghua and his delegation attended the summit.

With“Schools and Society”, “Education and Technology”and“Regional and Global Impact”as key themes, the summit encouraged different thoughts and ideas in anticipation of new impetus to develop education and new insights to futher guide development in education, and prepare for coping with potential challenges in global education. Experts from the Ministry of Education and scientific and technological circles of different countries seriously discussed the acceleration of future education development, synergy in diversified education,and complementation of Chinese and foreign educational systems.
