From November 23-26, 2018, the 2nd Belt &Road Initiative Global Health International Congress & 2018 Global Health Forum of the University Alliance of Silk Road (UASR) was held in Xi'an. The theme of this congress was“China's Contribution ·‘The Belt and Road Initiative’·Global Health”.

Approximately a hundred delegates attended the conference, including officials and experts from the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the Asia Pacific Clinical Nutrition Society, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Chinese Institute of Sport Science, the Health Commission of Shaanxi Province, and experts from the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Peru, and other countries.

Attendees exchanged ideas and discussed future cooperation and development in the field of global health. In addition, 20 young scholars presented their research results in two sessions of the Young Scholars Forum.
