On the afternoon of October 18, 2018, the Silk Road Celebrity China Tour and "Belt and Road" Promotion for Charming Beilin District was held at XJTU. Thirty participants, including senior journalists from Turkey, Egypt, Afghanistan, Palestine and other countries along the Silk Road, CRI Online foreign journalists, bilingual reporters from CRI headquarter and CRI Shaanxi reporters visited XJTU. XJTU Vice President Xi Guang delivered a speech about the history of XJTU, the UASR (University Alliance of the New Silk Road)and existing international cooperation and education of XJTU. He pointed out that XJTU is an energetic international university and warmly invited all guests to walk close to and learn the beauty of XJTU, so as to promote intercultural communication and mutual understanding between people with different cultural backgrounds.
