From September 20-22, 2018, XJTU president Wang Shuguo was invited to attend the First International Forum on Engineering Education and made a report titled “Integral Development of Universities and Society”.

This Forum, with the theme of “Innovation and Development of Engineering Education”, was co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Engineering, UNESCO and Tsinghua University. Well-known international scholars and leaders in the fields of engineering education, engineering technology and engineering management attended the forum and discussed the innovation and development of engineering education, aiming to promote the progress of world engineering technology and society, preparing to meet major global challenges. More than 150 experts, scholars and industrial representatives from famous universities, international organizations, academic groups and enterprises from nearly 20 countries and regions attended the forum.
