From August 25th to 27th, 2018, the 2018 Renesas Cup National Undergraduate Electronic Design Competition was successfully held in Xidian University. Two teams from XJTU entered the finals and won 2 first prizes, ranking first among all participating universities. Therefore, the top award — “Renesas CUP” was presented to XJTU.

The National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest is one of the undergraduate academic contests jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It is also one of the top nineteen academic contests among Chinese universities in past five years according to the list released by the China Association of Higher Education.
