Recently, thirty experts attending CAE Member Assembly won the “Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize for Achievements” and the “Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize”. XJTU alumnus Ms. Hu Xiaomian won the12^th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize.

Ms. Hu Xiaomian graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in physics, and now is a researcher of the Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics. She is one of the leading researchers in the field of comprehensive scientific experiments of engineering physics and precision experimental physics designs.

The Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize is granted to those who have made significant contributions to engineering science, which is also the highest award administered by non-governmental sectors to commend the outstanding engineering researchers in China.
