On April 15th to 20th, the 42nd Association for Computing Machinery-International Collegiate Programming Contest was held in Beijing. With the support of the XJTU Communist Youth League and the School of Electronicand Information Engineering, the four-year-old ACM team passed the national invitational tournament in the first round and the national network contest in the second round. Thanks to the efforts made by all members, the XJTU ACM team achieved fruitful result in the 2017 ACM-ICPC Asian Regional Contest, including 2 gold medals and 4 silver medals. In addition, XJTU also won the qualification to the 2018-2019 global finals, which is the first time ever for XJTU obtaining that opportunity.
