On September 22nd, 2017, XJTU-HKPU Silk Road School of International Engineering was officially established. Xi'an Jiaotong University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), Hong Kong Electric Co. Ltd., and State Grind Technology Institute, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation and Understanding on the Training of Senior Executives of Power and Energy Industry in the Countries and Regions Along the Belt and Road, aimed at cultivating high-level management personnel and academic leaders in the field of power and energy for countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
