XJTU and the Northwest Branch of China Eastern Airlines signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on the morning of August 30, 2017, which aimed at expanding cooperation fields and intensifying practical cooperations based on the advantages of both parties, so as to make contributions to the development of aviation industry of China.

According to the agreement, XJTU will provide professional training programs (EMBA, MBA, etc.) to meet the demand of China Eastern Airlines for constructing a more professional staff team. In addition to the education resources, XJTU will also use its advantages in academic research to launch a series of research projects through analyzing the air transport market, the operation-management mode of the corporation and other currently significant topics to support the development of the Northwestern Branch of China Eastern Airlines. At the same time, the Northwest Branch of China Eastern Airlines will offer a complete set of customized services for XJTU staff on business travel. Meanwhile, the company will also provide more internship opportunities for XJTU graduates for participating in the forefront of an enterprise.
