On July 5th, the Summit for Universities Presidents of China and Russia was held in Moscow. Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Russian Vice Premier Olga Golodets attended the Summit. Victor Antonovich Sadovnichy of Lomonosov Moscow State University hosted the Summit, more than 200 representatives from China and Russia discussed about the cooperation strategies in educational field between these two countries. Secretary of XJTU CPC Committee Zhang Maizeng attended the Summit and delivered a keynote speech.

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong delivered a keynote speech “Deepen Comprehensive Cooperation, Createa Bright Future” during the summit.

Secretary Zhang Maizeng delivered a keynote speech “Learning from each other fora Win-Win Cooperation, Improving the Competitiveness of Universities both in China and Russia”.

Secretary Zhang Maizeng also signed the MOU with rector Anatoly Alexandrovich Aleksandrov of Bauman Moscow State Technical University during the summit.
