Supported by Shaanxi Advanced Functional Materials and Key Laboratory of Mesoscopic Physics, the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Non-equilibrium Synthesis and Modulation of Condensed Matter is the first and only science key laboratory in the university. Since set up in 2010, the laboratory has assumed 217 scientific research projects with a total fund of RMB 160 million Yuan, among which 141 are longitudinal projects with the funds of RMB 90 million Yuan. Moreover, the laboratory has published 937 academic papers, among which 773 are collected by SCI and 47 are collected by ESI, making a new breakthrough in publishing papers in the top journals of the field. Besides, many papers have been published in the top physics and chemical journals, such as Chemical Society Review, Advanced Functional Materials, Physical Review Letters and Chemical Communications. In addition, the laboratory has obtained 60 patents for invention and won four awards including Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Awards.
