On Oct 20 afternoon, XJTU VP Xi Guang met the delegation headed by the senior vice president Toshiyuli Ikeda of Hitachi Limited. The two parties vowed to take advantage of the current collaboration to advance joint research, personnel training and equipment maintenance.

VP Xi Guang introduced XJTU’s Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor project. He mentioned the project intended to set up joint research and development lab in partnership with the world famous enterprises. So far, 3M and LG Group have signed agreements with XJTU on this partnership. A batch of enterprises is negotiating with XJTU on this. VP Xi Guang proposed to broaden collaboration with Hitachi Limited at this. He also hoped XJTU and Hitachi Research and Development Center could grow their relationship in the future.

The senior vice president Toshiyuli Ikeda of Hitachi Limited is confident of collaborating with XJTU at closer partnership and broader knowledge transfer.
