On October 13 afternoon, the president and CEO Robert D. Reid, and vice president Eileen Peacock of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), dean Jitendra Vir Singh of School of Business of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, dean and CEO Arfah Salleh of PUTRA, former vice president and former dean of the Business School of South Korea University Doo Hee Lee visited XJTU. President Wang Shuguo met the delegation. VP Xi Guang, academician Wang Yingluo, director Liang Li of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, dean Huang Wei of School of Management, and party secretary Sun Wei of School of Management etc joined the meeting.

President Wang Shuguo introduced the long history and strategies of XJTU as well as the plan and goal of the University Alliance of the New Silk Road (UANSR) and Western China Science and Technology Innovation Harbor. He especially elaborated on the agreement signing ceremony for the harbor project on which the Chinese vice premier madam Liu Yandong was present.

The president and CEO of AACSB International introduced the AACSB's commitment to global collaboration, innovation, and engagement etc.

Dean Huang Wei of XJTU School of Management presented the history and development of the school.
