On October 9 afternoon, the fellow of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the president Alexander Sigov of MIREA, vice president Vladimir Pankov of MIREA, vice president Dmitry Stoganov of MAMI, professor Alexandr Sidorkin of VSU, and professor Vladmir Shur of USU visited XJTU. XJTU President Wang Shuguo met the delegation and signed agreement with president Alexander Sigov. The two parties intend to collaborate under the framework of the University Alliance of the New Silk Road (UANSR). The Russian delegates also exchanged with deans of School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering etc. VP Xi Guang and Director Liang Li of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges attended the meeting.

From October 9 to 10, the delegates visited respectively under the guidance of different schools the XJTU state key labs on CAMP-Nano, Mechanical Manufacturing System Engineering, the Chinese Ministry of Education key lab on Electronic and Ceramic Devices/ International Center for Dielectric Research, the Shaanxi Provincial key lab on information photon, as well as the microelectronics technique lab at the department of microelectronics.
