On September 25, the Minister Li Zhaoxing of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs was invited into XJTU Western China Development Forum to give a keynote speech entitled Stories behind the Important Issues of the Chinese Foreign Diplomacy.

In his speech, the Former minister described the stories behind the diplomatic events he himself experienced. After the speech, he actively interacted with XJTU students. While mentioning the XJTU western relocation to Xi’an, he said, “the XJTU western relocation made a great contribution to the economic development of the then underdeveloped western China. In the past six decades, XJTU has additionally contributed to the education and economic growth of Xi’an, Shaanxi and even the northwestern China.” He also expressed his support for XJTU and his high expectations for XJTU students.
