From September 21-23, the 2015 International Drug Safety and Policy Research Forum was held. The Forum was sponsored by XJTU and the Medical School of Harvard University and undertaken by XJTU Drug Safety and Policy Research Center and Pharmaceutical School. Nearly 100 participants from over 20 universities and institutions attended the forum, including Harvard Medical School, the Asian Editor’s Office of The Lancet, University of Science Malaysia, Peking University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Fudan University, XJTU and the Health Development Research Center of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of P.R.China.

On the forum, the Chinese and foreign scholars engage discussions on drug safety and administration, medical policy and global health, health policy research and design, research trend of The Lancet journal and publication of quality papers etc in an effort to identify the approach and key areas of future drug safety and policy studies.
