On August 5, the Institute for Automatic Control at School of Electronic and Information Engineering organized the program Key Technologies for Internet of Things Machine Vision Testing and Devices for Serial Internet of Things Intelligent Testing and Control Systems evaluation meeting.

On the meeting, XJTU Professor Han Jiuqiang gave an overview of the research progress, background, core technologies, innovations and applications of the program. Following the meetings, the evaluation team checked the on-site demonstration of over 10 new testing and control instruments and systems, which were developed by the research team.

The specialist panel evaluated the program was a break-through in core technologies of internet of things machine vision testing and was additionally innovative and technologically challenging. On the whole, the program was on the international level. Particularly, technologies like integrated vision testing for bevel gear defects and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) took a lead in the international community.
