On July 6, the 2015 Silk Road International Summer School, jointly initiated by XJTU and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), was launched at Chiang Chen Studio Theatre, PolyU. The summer school gathers 171 students from 14 countries and regions including Kazakhstan, UK, Australia, Singapore and the United States etc. 54 XJTU students participated into the summer school firstly in Hong Kong and then joined the international students back in Xi’an, unveiling together the Silk Road International Summer School.
