In the evening of 15th April, “Find XJTU schoolfellows from all over the world” themed event and “XJTU Kick-off ceremony of LinkedIn Chinese Ivy League was co-hosted by XJTU Development and Alumni Relations Office and LinkedIn which is the world largest professional network.

In order to welcome the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the University and the 60th anniversary of the removal of campus, “Finding XJTUers from all over the world” themed event was launched by XJTU and LinkedIn. With the help of the strong social network platform, this event gathered alumni resources together and built a global alumni networking. On the kick-off ceremony, Zhao li, vice director of XJTU Development and Alumni Relations Office and webmaster of LinkedIn XJTU homepage released a letter to all alumni online: invite all alumni to join in LinkedIn and give the best wishes to XJTU. All teachers and students witness this moment and shout “XJTUers, fighting”. More than 100 alumni gave their wishes to XJTU during the events.

XJTU Development and Alumni Relations Office will continue to strengthen the cooperation with LinkedIn, providing top managers’ school lecture tour for graduates, taking file photos and get privilege to use LinkedIn’s prier account freely for one year.
