The signing ceremony of framework agreement was held at Baidu Campus in Beijing in the afternoon April 10. President Wang Shuoguo and Zhu Guang who is vice president of Baidu and alumni of XJTU signed the agreement.

According to the framework agreement, XJTU and Baidu will start deep cooperation in five aspects:

1.XJTU and Baidu sponsor a national college competition of big data to build a first brand big data competition.

2.Starting training plan of innovative talents.

3.Constructing big data platform and making teachers and students access to data to help teachings, tests, and research.

4.Integrating Baidu Academy Explorer with the library of XJTU to provide students with more convenient academic search.

5.Putting XJTU open classes on the platform of Baidu to make more people study online.
