2015 marks the 119th anniversary of XJTU, and in order to celebrate the anniversary, the new version of XJTU's English and Chinese homepage starts on April 8.

With the color of blue meaning future and technology, the structure of three parts, and flat design, the new version of Chinese homepage mainly showcases four aspects including beauty, academy, digitization, and activities of XJTU. Besides, the new page uses big pictures to show the latest news of XJTU. Comparing with the old version, the new page adds some new columns: XJTU at a glance; a Visitor Channel to serve people; an Advice Channel to get suggestions; a Social Media for users to visit social media sites of XJTU, an Inquiry for users' convenience.

As a window to communicate with foreign countries and a business card to self-introduction, the English homepage plays a very important role in the internationalized school running mode of XJTU. The new version of homepage introduces the improvements in teaching, research, academy, and students activities for those who care about the development of XJTU.

Keeping the same flat design with Chinese page but slight changes of the structure, the English emphasizes the diversity of information. Columns like News, Events, Teaching and learning, Academics are added as needed. Besides, Quick Links was made more detailed so as to help users. Meanwhile, XJTU launches an APP for users to visit the pages with smart phones.
