On March 18, Dr. Sebastian M. Schmidt, Director of Forschungszentrum Juelich, along with his colleagues visited XJTU and met with XJTU President Wang Shuguo in Room 201 of the Science Hall.

Mr.Wang extended warm welcome to the delegation's arrival and introduced the history and scientific advantages of XJTU, as well as the establishment of the Western Scientific and Technological Innovation Port in response to the national development strategy. Dr. Sebastian M. Schmidt expressed that the bilateral cooperation will be highly efficient and fruitful. After the meeting, two groups renewed the MOU between Forschungszentrum Juelich and XJTU.
