On the morning of March 16th, Professor J. Nicholas Entrikin, the Vice President of Notre Dame University, together with Jonathan Noble, the Assistant Provost, came to visit Xi'an Jiaotong University. WANG Shuguo,President of Xi'an Jiaotong University, met with the delegation at the sixthmeeting room in the sixteenth floor of Main Building.

President WANG expressed his warm welcome to the delegation. He introduced the general situation of Xi'an Jiaotong University as well as the overall planning, construction framework and its purpose of the West Technological Innovation Port of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Mr. Entrikin reviewed the previous cooperation between Notre Dame University and Xi'an Jiaotong University in talent cultivation, mutual communication and joint scientific research. He believed that there will be great potential and prospect for mutual cooperation and communication between the two universities.

Being regarded as thenoble paragon of American elite universities, its undergraduate education has been ranking within the top 20 universities of the US.
