On March 10, President of Emory University James W. Wagner, Vice Provost Philip J. Wainwright, and Special Assistant for President Evan M. Goldberg paid a visit to China. XJTU Vice President Yan Hong led a group to Beijing and had a talk with the delegation of Emory University.

Vice President Yan Hong introduced in general the XJTU Scientific and Technological Innovation Hub of Western China and the Department of Medicine. Both universities have reached consensus on talents cultivation, scientific research and teaching &faculty development.

President of Emory University James W. Wagner expressed great thanks to the delegation of XJTU. Then he introduced the recent development of Emory University, hoping that both universities will join hands and work together to create a brilliant future in the building of Scientific and Technological Innovation Hub of Western China on the basis of the areas of common concern.
