Recently, according to the list of people involved in BaiQianWan Talents Program announced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China, Professor Jia Shenli and Professor Lin Jing were included in the list, and awarded the honorary title of "outstanding contributions expert".

Jia Lishen is a professor of the School of Electronics in XJTU and has been long engaged in the research and teaching in characteristic of switching arc and its control. For the demand of an miniaturized environment-friendly power switchgear with high-capacity, he proposed multiple control technology of switching arc in different media, especially vacuum arc in inhomogeneous vertical magnetic field, which enriched and expanded the theory of switching arc.

Lin Jing is a professor of the School of Mechanism in XJTU and has been long engaged in the research and teaching in dynamic mechanical testing and signal processing, mechanical fault diagnosis, structural health monitoring, intelligent manufacturing and reliability of electromechanical system. He set the first standard for quantified optimization of wavelet and the smallest criteria of wavelet entropy, as well as the theory of noise reduction of non-orthogonal wavelet, complementary to the noise reduction of orthogonal wavelet by academician Donoho in American Academy of Science.
