The recommendation, application and review procedure of the 2014 Education Ministry-Sponsored College and University Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award (formerly known as theEducation Ministry-Sponsored Science and Technology Award) has come to an end. The results are now released. This time, XJTU submitted eight projects, six of which won the first prize, registering a very high proportion, for the average is about 10%. This ranked XJTU third, tying with Fudan University among all colleges and universities .The first prize-winning  projects are as following: research on signs, regulation and application of voltage-sensitive ceramic point defect structure; high performance relaxer ferroelectrics single crystal/ceramic materials and devices; biological tissue thermal- mechanical-electrical coupling behavior mechanism; precise reflection grating pressure seal manufacturing technology; The originate, expanded and clinical application of anastomosis technique of squeezing the bile and intestine by using the magnetism; the key technology and application of the dynamic error analysis of the numerical control machine tool.
