In order to deepen the exchange between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and XJTU on raising donation, the fund-raising workshop between the two universities was held on May 15.

The workshop was chaired by director Liang Li of Department of International Cooperation and Exchange. XJTU deputy party secretary Gong Hui and the heads of the relevant administrative departments, schools and colleges attended the workshop.

The vice president of University of Nebraska-Lincoln Prem Paul introduced the American federal contribution to the higher education, the history of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Foundation, the roles of alumni in raising funds and the general status of funds-raising of University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the introduction of American Charity Foundation.

The secretary-general of the Educational Foundation Zhao Weibin gave a presentation regarding the fund-raising at XJTU.

Afterwards, the delegation of the two universities exchanged their ideas on the current issues on fund-raising and agreed to continue meeting and exchanging ideas on this topic.
