From lab to life: humanoid robots' 'coming-of-age' year

As core technologies advance, humanoid robots are finding real-world uses across multiple sectors. No longer just lab "stunts", these "mechanical youngsters" are rapidly maturing into practical roles in many aspects of daily life.
2025, the first year of mass production, was a beginning. Fueled by human wisdom and ambition, humanoid robots are forging a new era of tech-driven transformation across industry.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
